The next section deals with Rating the Employee. Click on the Rating that best describes the Employee's
accomplishments. The "Explanation/Notes" column need not be filled in unless either the rating "Exceptional" or "Does Not Meet" is
selected. The system will not let the form be submitted if either rating is
selected and the "Explanation" is left empty. Even if an Explanation entry is not required it
is advisable to enter one as it will assist the employee in understanding the given
ratings and provide the employee with additional "Performance
Feedback." Please click on to see
